In all my travels in the UK, I must say that this small village called Limpsfield is one of the prettiest – and kind of exclusive to the lucky residents in the area. In fact, I was talking to my co worker who lives nearby this area and he says – if you managed to secure a place in this village – you’ve MADE IT in life!
One of the few tiny shops you can find in the High Street, apart from the small newsagent-cum-post office that you can find there.
Most of the houses look like this – so filled with English character (pricey to maintain the old character of the building).
Look at those lovely stones that form the central appeal of this house – so English and so full of old feel – just what I want for my dream house!
Can you appreciate this very pretty tiny house? The colours scream shabby chic – retro, subtle yet classy old feel – picture vibrant colours from the seaside…..
Look at those doors – aren’t they magical? Full of character – intricately restored and maintained – reminds of magazine photos.
To get to this village can be a bit of a journey but well worth it, just take the bus from Redhill, which is about 27 minutes journey by train from London Victoria station, then take the Southdowns Bus Company to Oxted, Surrey – from there you can take a bus again that goes to Limpsfield or just walk for about 12 to 15 minutes from the Oxted town centre.
